Hay Fever London Tickets

Christine Baranski makes her West End debut as the iconic Judith Bliss alongside legend, Richard E. Grant as her husband David Bliss in the irresistible Noël Coward comedy, directed by Emily Burns.

What is Hay Fever About?

Judith retired from her acting days, already she misses stage, but mostly the applause. Spending her lonely days in their country home, with her novelist husband David, failure-to-launch children Sorrel and Simon who do not pay her any attention, let alone being a good audience.

So, Judith invites a young fan as her guest for the weekend. But unbeknownst to her, each of the Blisses have a guest of their own arriving at the very same time.

The family unsuited to hosting and a stranger to compromise, the weekend unravels into chaos with parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores.

It’s worth the applause

  • **Christine Baranski** is an Emmy, two-time Tony, Screen Actors Guild and Drama Desk winner
  • **Richard E. Grant** is a stage and screen legend and Academy Award nominated

Review: Hay Fever At The Duke Of York’s Theatre

Following its success at the Theatre Royal Bath, Noel Coward’s Hay Fever has arrived at the Duke Of York’s Theatre for a limited season. Felicity Kendal stuns as Judith Bliss, the eccentric former actress who is incapable of giving up the spotlight, even to her equally self-involved husband and children. Hay Fever follows the Bliss family through an outrageous weekend of entertaining four unsuspecting guests.
