Beatrice Penny-Touré to Star as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera

Producer Cameron Mackintosh has announced that Beatrice Penny-Touré will star as Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre for a strictly limited ten-week season, running from Monday 2 March to Saturday 9 May 2026.
Lily Kerhoas, who currently plays Christine, will give her final performance on Saturday 28 February 2026, with the production now booking until Saturday 3 October 2026
What has Beatrice Penny-Touré been in?
Beatrice Penny-Touré recently appeared as Cosette in the Les Misérables Arena World Tour and will return to the role following her engagement in Phantom. She previously made her professional and West End debut performing and covering Christine Daaé, leading to further appearances including Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre, Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at the Gielgud Theatre, Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre, and The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre. A graduate of The Arts Educational School, she received the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship, graduating in 2021.
