25 outstanding years of dance!

Richard Alston Dance Company celebrates its 25th year of dance with its new mixed programme entitled Quartermark that features two brand-new pieces and a revival of Proverb, which will be set to Steve Reich's vocals and is widely considered to be one of Alston's most thought-provoking works.

Richard Alston's fantastic Brahms Hungarian

This new work makes use of the incredibly popular music of Johannes Brahms as dancers are carried to-and-fro by rapid steps and long-lost energy. Brahms Hungarian is accompanied by live pianist Jason Ridgway.

Martin Lawrance takes a spectacular Detour

Detour is a brand-new piece by Martin Lawrance that is set to Michael Gordon's Timber and features the quick-paced style you know and love. His dancers will swoop in on the stage like birds of prey.
